Quite a lot has happened since our last update. We experienced the hottest summer since 1976, the biggest July budget surplus for 18 years and found out the UK’s favourite sandwich of the 2010’s (apparently, hummus and falafel).
A lot has also happened in the VATBRIDGE office, so what happened?
Welcoming More New Staff Members
This year we have already welcomed a new Managing Director (Vince Bull), Administration Manager (Patrick Richardson) and Head of Telesales and Marketing (John Migan). Now we have a few more to add to the roster.
We welcome Sarah Terry, our new Telesales Account Manager; and James Moore, our new Telesales Executive. Both are extremely talented and have already made a positive impact on the business. We look forward to seeing more of what they have to offer.
Our Back To School Campaign
The kids are now back to school, so we created a brand new campaign to reflect this event. Our new campaign, which started on 5th September, runs throughout our marketing channels – from social media to email. We’ve even created a YouTube video!
Our tagline for this campaign is “Now August is over, we go into the serious business of commercial property purchases.”. We want to encourage property developers, commercial mortgage brokers, accountants and lawyers to get back into the swing of things – with a message of “Playtime is over…”.
The Finance Professional Show 2018
On 7th November 2018 we will be, once again, attending The Finance Professional Show. We’ve come a long way in the last year and have grown considerably. You can find us this time at stand E8.
Last year we gave out soft notepads and pens to those who visited our stand. This year we have various goodies to give away – so make sure you swing by and get your hands on them before they’re all gone!
Solving Commercial Property VAT Problems
However, we would like to share with you an article written by our very own CEO, Laurence Rutter, talking about how bridging loans can solve commercial property VAT issues. This article can be found via Bridging Directory.
That’s all for this week, make sure to stay tuned for more company news. If you want even more up to date information then please visit our Twitter page at @VAT_BRIDGE.
